I despise my position in this whole haloobaloo. I get to know the info they do not release in the news, and I do not at all believe what they report already in television. But on top of it all, I feel like everything happening is a deception-coated canon ball that is waiting to fire at all of us right at our heads.
Let me say some things (that I am allowed to say): [Reporters there. Read.]
(1) This Trill-logy (Trillanes times 3) is earlier than expected. One was Oakwood. Two was supposed to be in February. Three is secret-classified-info already. Esperon is going to retire in February and the next-in-line officers are not pro-GMA, so imagine what will happen then. I was caught by surprise when while I was on my way for an interview in Ortigas, the news broke out. Damn I was scared. Not for myself, but for the people who are puppetted again to believe what they are supposed to believe. I will elaborate on this later.
(2) I give snaps to Guingona for showing his face in public, despite apparent knowledge of humiliation. At least he has the balls to declare that I am a public enemy and to say that you-all-in-goverment deserve to be shaken that we rebels are still alive. To all the reporters there, if you are really good at what you do, find out who else is behind this political drama. Trilly and his men did not do this alone. And after you do your homework and get dumbstruck with the names you see, then we talk again.
(3) Let's concede that Trilly was stupid to have made a reservation in Manila Penn for the entire drama. (Jaime Garchitorena joked, why did Trilly choose Manila Penn over Oakwood this time? Answer: Because the buffet in Manila Penn is better. haha Nice one Jaime.) I assumed they made a reservation or some arrangement because he just declared they would go to Manila Penn out of the blue in Makati RTC. And stupid for Manila Penn to accept it, knowing that they are placing hell upon themselves. Now look at the poor door. Poor poor door.
But that was not my point. The drama was planned, that's for sure, and there is a part of me that says that a piece of the puzzle is missing: Analyze: Planned coup attempt + immediate press con + Manila Penn reservation + military red alert , corollary to:
(a) GMA out of the country: why would you try to oust a prexy when she is not here?
(b) Less than one day to surrender: why immediately surrender on a "planned" attempt?
Answer: Sure they expected a portion of military support which we all know did not happen. They blocked entrances to Manila from possible Trilly reinforcements from Batangas, Cavite, and Bulacan. The "we surrender to protect the people" is bull shit. They horribly made media men and the religious as pathetic human shields. That means something else has happened without our knowledge:
It's either something failed (which is out on the news, which is what we are made to believe), OR, something has succeeded...
What I am scared of is that the entire Manila Penn drama is just a diversion for something else. Something that is just waiting to explode.
(Side note: Shall Manila Penn change its name? Oakwood turned ito Ascott. Let's wait and see.)
(4) Trilly and his men proposed a transitionary government which they offered to Ricardo Puno. Why? Why him? As far as I know, the Punos are corrupt. That has been established time and time again. Puno is not even popular in the list. Puno is not Roxas, nor Villar (why is the GMA line pushing for him anyway?). We all know Puno flushed the offer down the bowl, but something else is there: The choice of Puno is not motivated by love of country as this Trilly with suicidal-heroic-tendencies would like us to believe. There is some personal grudge, some aspect of vengeance, and whatever the arrangement was if Puno were to be placed in office is another piece of the puzzle missing.
Trilly, why place a bet on a cock that can't win the sabong? Clouded interpretation, the dark side gives us.

My thoughts are not that organized. I don't watch the news anymore. I read online, and I get updates from my reliable sources and not-so-dignified sources. But it's enough for me to realize that news will never be a source of enlightenment for me. It will forever be my limbo.
